Magician baffles TikTok with a video 'FLYING on a broomstick like Harry Potter'… but can you figure out how it's done?

A MAGICIAN has been baffling the internet with an incredible video he has created of him “flying on a broom” like Harry Potter.

Zach King, 29, from California, has racked up 2.1billion views for the spell-binding trick which appeared to show him hovering without any strings.

Zach, who has 28.2 million TikTok followers and 5.14 million YouTube subscribers, uploaded the video just days ago, and it has been a hit online.

He wrote as the caption: “They rejected my application to Hogwarts but I still found a way to be a wizard.”

The magician can be seen dressed in the famous red and gold Gryffindor robes zooming round a cul-de-sac seemingly without a harness.

But how did he do it?

Zach reveals the “magic” for curious fans by zooming close to the camera and showing a large mirror hanging from the broom.

The mirror, which appears to be suspended from the broom, reflects a fake front leg to look like the other is hanging behind.

However, as the camera spins around, the wannabe wizard is actually riding a skateboard that is concealed behind the mirror.

Even though he revealed his big secret, many fans are still confused at how it was achieved so seamlessly, with some people suggesting green screens or post-production editing could also have helped.

Many people have praised the trick for being “amazing” and “clever”.

One person wrote: “Long boardium Leviosa, that's what gets me.”

But another person added: “Is this one of those things where you pretend to explain the trick, but don't actually explain the trick?

“Because most of the video looks more like a green screen effect to me.”
