Mum grabs ten Quality Street advent calendars as B&M flogs them for just £1.49

SHOPPERS are rushing to stock up on Quality Street advent calendars after B&M slashed the price to just £1.49.

Christmas isn’t complete without a tin of brightly coloured sweets, and chocolate fans were over the moon when Quality Street brought out an advent calendar.

The Christmas countdown is back on shelves this year, but eagle eye shoppers spotted it at B&M for the bargain price of £1.49.

In other shops the calendar goes for more than double the price, with Waitrose selling it for £5, while it will cost you £4 in Morrisons.

After one mum saw the incredible deal in store, she picked up ten calendars.

Barbara Cornfoot shared her haul to Facebook group B&M Stores Bargains and More, which cost her £14.90, saving herself more than £35 compared to Waitrose.

She said: “These were down to £1.49. Bought 10 and wrapping them up to leave on friend's doorsteps Monday night…..

“Hope none of you are on here.”

And she confirmed she left a few for other shoppers, adding: “They had quite a few when I was there!”

Hundreds of people liked her post as they praised her incredible bargain, as fellow shoppers planned trips to their local B&M.

One person said: “Do u need my address lol well done.”

Another wrote: “What a lovely thing to do. Can I be your friend lol.”

A third commented: “My b&m didn't have any advent calendars left!”
