First up was a tin of fat-free refried beans, but she said to “season these up a bit or make your own.”

Next came a quarter cup each of her lazy girl Mexican rice on top of this.

She explained her method: "Add a teaspoon of Caldo de Tomate seasoning from Walmart," she said, "with one cup of water, and one cup of instant rice. Stir and microwave for six minutes."

Over this went one pound of taco meat. “I used lean beef," she wrote, "split evenly among the four bowls."

Then she distributed a quarter cup of enchilada sauce across the four dishes and then added "store bought Queso, just using a tablespoon, it’s fine, and a tiny sprinkle of cheese.

"Optional pico or other toppings of choice," on top she said, with "some Tortilla strips for crunch. So filling and flavourful," was her final verdict.

Makayla's post was hugely popular with over 135,000 likes and hundreds of comments.

Commenters were certainly in full approval.

“It was so good we ate more than the portion you suggested," enthused this fan.
