New dating app Ship is the lazy girl’s answer to finding a match as it lets your friends search, discuss and pick your perfect partner
Because if there's one person who knows precisely what you're looking for in a partner, it's going to be your bestie – and now thanks to a new app, we can now give them total control of our love lives.
Developed by the makers of Tinder, Plenty of Fish and OK Cupid, this new dating app – aptly named Ship – allows your allocated friends to sift through all of your potential matches on your behalf.
After someone swipes right on a person they think you'll hit it off with, that profile is then put into a group chat where you and your mates can discuss the match further.
Or in our dating app experience, enjoy their hilarious chat-up lines and imaginative bios.
After dissecting the person's profile, it's ultimately up to you whether you want to "match" with the person your friends recommend.
But before you freak out at the prospect of handing over your dating life to your mates, Ship still allows you to have total control over your personal profile.
In other words, you can still edit your own bio and update your dating preferences as you use the app.
What's more, the ingenious app is totally free to download now. *Downloads immediately*
In their founding statement, media company Betches said: "As millennials, dating apps are a part of our collective experience, but the way we connect on these apps doesn't mimic the real-life interaction that happens when people are out with friends.
"That's why we're excited to announce our new dating app, Ship, built to bring social connection back to dating.
"We build our lives around the connections and friendships that matter the most to us, and Ship allows us to be there for our friends as they navigate the world of dating."
Let's be honest, our best friend gets the final say over whoever we date anyway – why not just let them choose our partners in the first place?
