PEOPLE are rushing to call a dad a ‘hero’ after he transformed his daughter’s garden on a budget in just three weeks – and people can’t believe it wasn’t a professional job.
With summer just around the corner, many of us will be spending the next few evenings and weekends trying to get ours ready.
And while most will settle for a quick mow of the lawn and jet wash of the furniture, Ellie’s dad took it one step further.
The content creator took to TikTok to share her father’s impressive work, after revealing that he built her a new decking area from scratch.
He also installed some posh-looking planters and laid a new turf, all within three weeks.
She said: “Just the best.”

During the 20-second reel, Ellie shared a glimpse at what her garden looked like before.
Her rectangular garden was mostly covered in overgrown grass, only broken up by a path made from beige patio stones and a small seating area in the top, right-hand corner.
She then goes on to share, step-by-step, what her dad did over the course of three weeks to transform it.
First, he removed all the existing grass, before covering the entire area with a black plastic sheet to stop weeds from growing through.

Around the edge, he built a raised patio border using roofing battens, before also carving out where two raised flowerbeds would sit at the front of the patio, later filled with a mix of grey and white pebbles.
Ellie’s dad then covered the remaining square with sand, before laying the new artificial grass over the top.
In the back right-hand corner, he built a two-tier decking area to hold her four-seater table and chairs, as well as a black rattan outdoor sofa set.
Her dad’s efforts attracted plenty of attention online, gaining more than 61,500 likes and 2.4 million views.
Known online as @elohare, the content creator regularly shares life updates with her 3,400 followers.
In the comments, TikTokkers shared their reactions, with one writing: “It looks gorgeous, and so much bigger.”
“Not all heroes wear capes,” commented another.
A third put: “Dad like this is a blessing.”
