We spent over £4k renovating our family house but then my kids ruined everything within seconds
A MUM was left sobbing for 10 minutes after her daughters ruined her newly-renovated home by spreading black paint everywhere.
Kerry Jones was asleep when her partner Callum, 23, came running into the bedroom to tell her that Lacie-Rae, four, and Eliza-Skye, two, had turned their bungalow in Clayton, Manchester, into an “art project”.
The 22-year-old grabbed her phone and videoed as she surveyed the damage, which saw black footprints covering the corridor and leading into the living room, where handprints were all over the wall.
Kerry, who posted the footage on Facebook, said: "I didn't even say anything.
"My mouth was just wide open with tears running down my face. I was just so shocked.
"I thought 'I've got to record this before I lose my s**t'.

"Callum was going mad. He was just saying 'look at the house', but the girls were staring at us to tell us they'd done nothing wrong."
Kerry estimates her daughters must have been at the painting for about an hour, and thinks her eldest got the idea of "hand painting" after doing it school.
They only moved into the home last October and have spent £4,000 redecorating since then – with all their hard work now down the drain.
"The whole hallway was full of paint and footprints, the brand new £75 rug was destroyed and all my throws are ruined," Kerry added.

But while many parents would have screamed and shouted at the girls for their actions, Kerry isn't like that.
"I was furious but they're children and they don't understand so you can't go mad at them," she said.
"My children are my life, so I wouldn't scream and go mad at them. I held it all in.
"Before I posted the video on Facebook, I sat on my couch and I cried for about 10 minutes, then realised my tears aren't going to clean this up.
"Once we'd got the girls clean, we watched the videos back and cried with laughter and the girls' faces in it.
