A woman has revealed how she turned a cheap Ikea stool into a glam side table with minimal effort.
In a video which has racked up over 180,000 likes, she showed how she picked up a bargain white stool and a gold tray from the cheap Swedish retailer.
TikTok user @kleinstadtcoco wrote: “Create something cool with the MARIUS stool and the GLATTIS tray from IKEA.”
All you have to do is ditch the stool seat but unfold the legs and secure them in place with a screw.
Then you need to flip the stool upside down so the legs are pointing up.

Grab the gold tray and fix it over the top of the legs so it is firmly in place.
Then you can add some chic accessories such as a plant, candle or book on top to give it a homely feel for your lounge.
