Even after hours of prepping in the bathroom you can never predict how everything will go once you are in front of the camera.
But sometimes it's your clothes that you need to be careful of.
One woman has revealed the important reason why you should never wear a off the shoulder top on picture day.
The creator who goes by @Nixon.net shared her huge mistake in a TikTok video online.
She said: "Pro tip: don't wear an off the shoulder top on picture day."

Nixon had made the fatal error of wearing an off the shoulder top on her photo day.
Like most ID photos, the photographer only got a headshot of Nixon which crops by her shoulders.
Nixon revealed that the photo is cropped before her shoulders which makes it look like she isn’t wearing anything underneath.
Unsurprisingly the creator was completely humiliated.

Nixon's video racked up over 812,000 views online.
People were stunned at Nixon’s ID photo with many saying they had made the same mistake in the past.

Another said: “One time I wore a top that slightly matched my skin tone and it ended up looking like this.”

One viewer said they had made the mistake not once but twice.
They said: “Worst decision ever. not once, but twice. freshman and senior yr.”
