Woman terrifies viewers with video of 'demon' on the beach in Panama – but all is not what it seems | The Sun

A WOMAN has left social media users horrified after revealing how she spotted a "demon" on the beach but all was not as it seemed.

Brenda Gonzalez, 32, was taking a stroll by the water when she looked to her right and noticed something strange.

In a clip that has racked up 26.4 million views, she filmed what appears to be a dark sea monster lurking on the sand.

Social media users said the creature looked like a “demon.”

But Gonzales actually had everyone fooled, as the monster was not a monster at all.

It was actually just her four-year-old dog, Lolita.

”Lolita is a very intelligent dog. She knows many tricks and behaves very well,” Gonzales, from Taboga, Panama, told Needtoknow.co.uk.

“The beach brings out the crazier side of it and we have a blast every time we go.

“I thought I was sharing a funny video and I ended up terrorizing TikTok.

“I used to just see my wet dog, but once a friend said she looked like a creepy creature, and it’s stuck since.”

Brenda shared the video on TikTok (@lost_ptyer), where she has 13,800 followers.

In the video, Lolita can be seen stretched out on the beach, wagging her tail and looking suspiciously like some type of sea monster.

She then turned around and showed her smiley face to the camera.

The clip, captioned “I call it Lola,” has gathered 2.9 million likes as well as 35,900 comments from shocked users.

One viewer commented: “Bro my heart started racing.”

“NAHHHH BRO DONT PLAY WITH ME LIKE THAT,” wrote another TikToker, while a third chimed in: “Nah I'm not going to sleep after seeing this.”

One more wrote that their heart "just missed a beat," while another said that when the dog moved, they threw their phone.

“BRUH I THOUGHT IT WAS A DEMON POSSESSING BLACK SEAWEED OR SMTH,” added Tommy.
