Brownie recipe: How to make brownies with Oreos and cookie dough
Brownies are a top treat at the best of times but there’s one sure-fire way to make them even tastier, and that’s by adding some tasty extra ingredients. Heaping in some oreo chunks and a box of cookie mix into your cake tin makes for an extra delicious brownie snack.
These brownies are really simple to make, since you can use brownie and cookie dough packet mix instead of whipping the components up from scratch.
It’s also a really quick recipe to make, since from start to finish the process only takes 45 minutes.
Once made, eat them fresh from the oven served with vanilla ice cream.

- 1 Box of cookie mix
- 1 Box of brownie mix
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Packs of Oreos (double stuffed ones are even better if you can find them)
- Some oil
- Your favourite ice-cream (optional)
1: Preheat your oven to 350F, 180C, gas mark 4.
2: Line a baking tray with grease proof paper.
3: Follow the instructions on the cookie mix box and stir until you have gooey cookie dough.
You can add a little more water and oil than what the box suggests to keep the cookie dough moist.
You will be baking the mix for longer than suggested, so an extra teaspoon of each won’t hurt.

4: Spoon the cookie dough into a lined baking tray until it covers the bottom completely. This is your base.
5: Cover this layer with your Oreos. If you have broken Oreos on the packet, don’t use them. Only use the whole Oreos.
It’s also better if you can get Double Stuffed Oreos, to make the brownies extra creamy.
6: Mix up your brownie batter by following the recipe on the box, and pour the mix over your Oreo layer. Bake this for 30mins.
7: Remove the brownies from the oven and leave to cool.
8: When its still a little bit warm, use the paper to lift your creation out of the tray and rest it on a chopping board.
9: Use a large, sharp knife to cut it into decent sized slabs.
Drop onto a plate and scoop on your ice cream, fruit, or whatever you want to serve the pudding with. Enjoy!
