KFC launches Christmas burger with hash brown gravy boat
Gravy is a big part of Christmas dinner every year. Let’s be honest – the turkey would be a little dry without it.
So to celebrate the stuff, KFC is launching a Christmas burger with gravy as the focus.
The festive treat even comes with a hash brown shaped to hold the liquid.
The gravy comes in a separate pot so you can pour it yourself and the meal won’t go soggy before you even take a bite.
The burger also includes a gravy mayo, cheese and of course, a mini fillet coated in the classic KFC spice and herb blend.
It launches on 16 November and will be available at all stores until 3 January.
It is only available as part of a meal, which costs £6.99, so you’ll also get a side and a drink.
Currently, all KFC restaurants in the UK are closed for dine-in customers until 2 December due to the second lockdown – but you’ll be able to order the new burger for takeaway, home delivery and at drive-thrus.
Elsewhere, McDonald’s has revealed their Christmas menu, which includes a double Big Mac and a Celebrations McFlurry.
The giant Big Mac includes four beef patties instead of two, with generous helpings of Big Mac sauce, plus fries and a drink, costing £5.69 for the meal.
The festive McFlurry includes soft dairy ice cream swirled with Maltesers clusters, Galaxy chocolate drops, Caramel pieces, Mars nuggets, and Twix biscuits, topped with a milk chocolate sauce.
You can get a mini one for 99p, or a regular Celebrations McFlurry for £1.39.
