Man makes full Christmas dinner for family of six for just £24

It’s meant to be a joyful event that is loved and enjoyed, but with costs rising, many of us are anxious about the spiralling cost of Christmas dinner this year.

However, when there is a will (and a savvy shopper) there is a way.

One man has shared how to cook an entire Christmas Day feast for under £24.

The TikTok user, whose page is called @costoflivingcrisistips, revealed to followers that he had purchased and made an entire meal for six from bargains at Aldi.

He started with the all important turkey, picking up a small crown for just £13.99.

Next, he found sage and onion stuffing for just 43p and a packet of gravy granules for 95p.

Yorkshire pudding fans can rejoice as he purchased a pack of 12 for just 79p.

Meanwhile, his vegetables were also a steal.

The smart saver found a bag of carrots for 45p, Brussel sprouts for 69p and some frozen duck-fat roast potatoes for £2.39.

And the feast didn’t end there.

For dessert, he chose a Christmas pudding for £3.69 and some vanilla custard for 55p.

In total, the bill came to £23.93 and fed a family of six.

Viewers were impressed with the affordable feed.

‘Good enough dinner. Plenty would be glad to have this at Christmas,’ wrote one user.
