Morrisons is selling a limited edition Aperol Spritz box

The bank holiday weekend is almost here and we are all hoping the weather picks up a little.

While we wait for the sun to rear its head, there’s a new boozy product that you should be adding to your online shopping basket.

Morrisons is selling an Aperol Spritz box – equipped with everything you need to make the summery drink.

Each kit features a 70cl bottle of Aperol to combine with Morrisons’ Mionetto Prosecco – there’s even some Morrisons Soda Water to ensure you get your spritz.

Of course, no Aperol would be complete without a zesty garnish, so each box comes with an orange – so you can really push the boat out.

The cocktail box also includes some delicious accompaniments, including the supermarket’s Gruyere and Poppy Seed Twists, Lightly Salted Crisps and Nocellara Olives – making it the perfect addition to any picnic.

It’s worth pointing out that these Aperol Cocktail Boxes are limited edition and we have every reason to believe they will be snapped up very quickly – so you better hurry.

You can buy them now for £35 (that’s including next day delivery) on the Morrisons food boxes website.

From BBQ boxes to Ramadan feasts, the supermarket has seen a huge boom in people looking for ready-to-go kits delivered to the door.

Liam Challenger, food boxes trading manager at Morrisons, said: ‘The first May bank holiday feels like the start of the British summer – and with foreign holidays still off the cards, our Aperol Cocktail Box can bring a taste of the continent to gardens and parks across the UK.

‘The box includes everything customers need to make the classic, refreshing Italian spritz with carefully selected snacks to serve alongside.’

However, this isn’t the only boozy delight that’s set to go down a treat at garden parties and BBQs this summer. Aldi has just brought out a new salted caramel liqueur that tastes just like Biscoff and M&S have launched some new fruity gin liqueurs.
