Tesco’s three course meal deal is perfect for Mother’s Day – and it’s only £10

Tesco has a range of gifts this Mother’s Day including chocolates and flowers as well as recipes available online to cook a delicious meal. For those looking for a tasty but quick meal, the supermarket’s meal deals are ideal for the occasion.

The Tesco Finest Meal Deal allows customers to choose from a large range of mains, sides and puddings.

A drink is also included in the price and shoppers can pick from alcoholic and soft beverages.

The meal deal serves two people for £10 or it can be bought twice to cater for a larger family which would come in at £20, similar to other retailers. 

Main meals included in the deal are chicken Cabernet Sauvignon, pesto and parmigiano breaded chicken, beef lasagne, ranch steaks with garlic butter and chorizo Mac and cheese.

Customers can also pick up the mushroom leek and brie filo pie for a vegetarian option.

The side options available include peas, leeks and pancetta, chunky chips, potato dauphinoise, and rosemary roasted parmentier potatoes. 

You can also get the meal deal delivered which is valid until March 30, 2021.

What’s more, customers can pick from a delicious range of puddings.

These include Belgian chocolate profiteroles, chocolate and orange cheesecake slices, vanilla cheesecake slices and chocolate and salted caramel pots. 

Beverages are also included in the deal and shoppers can pick from a range of selected wines, which on their own cost £7 each.

Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Rose as well as Chardonnay are all part of the alcoholic range as well as four bottles of Peroni.

Soft drinks available are Coca-Cola Zero, Diet Coke Pack, Bottle Green Twin Pack and Tesco Finest Pink Lady Apple Juice and Lemonade.

For those looking for a takeaway style meal without the price tag, The Pizza Company  Meal Deal is also sold in Tesco stores.

This allows you to buy two large pizzas, two ides and one dips stacker for just £10.

Pizzas include pepperoni, cheese, bbq chicken bonanza and buffalo chicken. 

Dirty fries, cajun onion rings, chicken pops and seasoned potato wedges as well as dough balls are all part of the side options as well as the hot chocolate fudge cake for a sweet treat.

Customers can also pick up a dip stacker included in the price and pick from garlic and herb or spicy garlic and herb.

For gift options, Tesco has slashed the price of Baileys to just £12 for those with a Clubcard and Cadbury’s Milk Tray is reduced to £3 for those who use their Clubcard. 

As well as this, there is a huge range of recipes online for those looking to cook a homemade meal. 

In other news, Marks and Spencer recently launched their Mother’s Day meal deal which feeds four for just £20.

For the price, customers can pick up a roasting joint main, three sharing sides and an indulgent pudding.

For mains, customers can pick between a British beef joint with roast beef butter, British roast chicken, tender roast lamb shoulder or an outdoor-bred British pork rib roast.

For fish options there is a lemon and herb salmon joint and there is also a Plant Kitchen chickenless roasting joint, which is vegan.

Side options include mashed potato, roasted potatoes, pigs in blankets or honey and orange-glaze carrots.

Braised red cabbage with Bramley apples is also on the menu as well as mature cheddar cauliflower cheese and asparagus spears.
