Aldi's advent calendars for cats and dogs cost just £3 each

With a treat for every day of Advent, your cats and dogs will love the festive treats – and by only costing £2.99 per calendar, your wallet will love them too.

The advent calendar for dogs contains treats weighing a total of 100g, including snacks with real meat such as duck bites with rice as well as various chicken treats including strip cuts and dumbbells.

The advent calendar for cats includes tasty treats with chicken, duck and salmon flavours, and weigh a total of 96g.

The calendars will hit Aldi store shelves this Sunday, or you can pre-order them online already.

This may be smart as the calendars are a part of Aldi's Specialbuys, so they're only available as long as stocks last.

Aldi's Specialbuys is actually a great way to pick up tasty discounts, but the deals are only dropped two days a week.

In other furry news, Aldi recently started selling pet-friendly Prosecco and beer – and it's only £1.99 for a bottle.

Earlier this year, the supermarket chain launched its largest ever pet products range.
