Ariana Grande is the first artist since The Beatles to claim top three songs on Hot 100

Ariana Grande just achieved a musical milestone that hasn’t been seen since 1964.

Released Monday, this week’s Billboard Hot 100 songs chart features three of Grande’s singles occupying the top three spots on the chart, all from her new album “Thank U, Next.”

The album’s title track is sitting at No. 3 this week, with her new song “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” debuting on the chart at No. 2, while her “7 Rings” single is spending its fourth week at No. 1.

Grande’s big week on the charts makes her the first artist to hold the top three entries on the Hot 100 simultaneously since the Beatles’ heyday, when the band had America’s top three songs for five weeks in March and April 1964, with “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Twist and Shout” and “Do You Want to Know a Secret”. Grande and The Beatles are the only two acts to ever achieve this milestone, according to Billboard.

Unfortunately for the Grande fans who started the #boycott7rings hashtag last week, with the hopes of boosting “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” to the No. 1 spot over “7 Rings,” the viral movement wasn’t enough to knock “7 Rings” from the top of the charts.

Grande expressed her surprise with a string of posts on Twitter, writing, “wait what…what the (expletive) is going on.”

“i laughed when i saw this bc i thought y’all edited it,” she continued, sharing a photo of this week’s charts before thanking her fans. “thank u from the bottom of my heart. for so many reasons. first time since the beatles huh. that’s wild. i thought this was a joke when i saw it i’m not kidding. i love u. so much. always have n will. thank u for everything.”
