B&M launches HUGE two for £16 sale on toys like Peppa Pig and Lego

ENTERTAINING the kids just got a whole lot cheaper with B&M offering two for £16 deals and slashing prices on a range of toy brands.

Toys from brands like Peppa Pig and Brick By Brick that would usually cost £9.99 each are currently on offer as part of a two for £16 deal.

This means you can save £4.98 but you’ll need to fork up more upfront and buy two toys to trigger the discount.

The retailer has also been flogging some items from brands like Lego at reduced prices of up to 70% off.

The deals are not available online so you will have to head to your local Morrisons to pick up the bargains.

You can find your local branch using the supermarket’s store locator tool.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that'll check prices for you – so don't be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

In the meantime, you can check what's availalbe in the sale on the B&Mwebsite but be aware that some stores may not have the items that you want in stock.

We've contacted B&M to get more information about how long the sale will go on and will update this page when we know more.

Below we've rounded up some of our favourite bargains in the sale.

Before you splash out, make sure you shop around as you may be able to find cheaper deals elsewhere.

Google's price comparison tool, Google Shopping, is free and easy to use.

Peppa Pig Magnetic Scribbler and Remote Control Urban Stunt Car

  • Was: £19.98. Now: £15. Save: £5 (25%)

Under the two for £16 deal, you can pair a Peppa Pig Magnetic Scribbler and Remote Control Urban Stunt Car.

Of course, you can also mix and match any of these items depending on which toys your little ones prefer.

But if you want to get these two items, you can save £4.98 with the two for £16 deal.

This is because the magnetic scribbler and the rescue bots both usually cost £9.99 each, bringing the total to £19.98.

Note that if you only want to buy one of these toys, you will not be able to get a discount.

The deal is also only worth it if you really want to buy two of the toys involved in the offer.

On its own, we couldn't find a cheaper deal for this particular model of Pepper Pig scribbler but you can get a smaller version at Asda for £7.

Again, we couldn’t find a better deal on this model of remote control car but you can get a similar toy on Amazon for just £7.58 reduced from £12.99.

Brick by Brick Dinosaur Building Bricks and Princess Castle Inflatable Ball Pit

  • Was: £20. Now: £15. Save: £5 (25%)

For £16, you can also pair a Dinosaur Building Brick 28-piece set and a Princess Castle inflatable ball pit – both usually costing £9.99 each at B&M.

Again, it’s important to note that the deal is only worth it if you buy two toys as you will not get a discount on one item alone.

If you want to buy the building bricks on their own, this is the best deal we could find on this particular item but Amazon is selling a 123-piece Lego set for just £8.99 plus free delivery.

This was also the best deal we could find for the Princess Castle Ball Pit with the next best dealing at Argos for £13.99.

LEGO Super Mario Piranha Plant Puzzling Challenge

  • Was: £24.99. Now: £15. Save: £9.99 (60%)

This Lego Super Mario Piranha Plant Puzzling Challenge would normally set you back $24.99 at B&M.

But the retailer is currently flogging it for 60% off – by far the best deal out there at the moment.

The next best price we found was £19.99 at Smyth Toys.

All Original Style Doll

  • Was: £9.99. Now: £3. Save: £6.99 (70%)

This style doll which comes with a trendy outfit and long hair combination to comb and style is currently a whopping 70% off at B&M.

On top of that, there are four different dolls to choose from.

At just £3, it will be a hard push to find a doll this cheap anywhere else, but another good deal we found for a bigger doll was £10 for the Fail Fix Doll from Love.Glam selling for £10 reduced from £20 at Argos.

Elsewhere, Wayfair has launched a sale with up to 80% off furniture.

And if you're after something more suited to the beauty section at a bargain price, then Boots is also currently running a sale with 70% off items.

And on the high street, Debenhams confirms final store closing dates ahead of a huge sale too.
