Girl demands more money in letter to tooth fairy as parents brand her ‘bratty’

Growing up, every child wanted a visit from the tooth fairy.

The average gift for losing a tooth is often money, although some fairies might be more generous.

Now one girl's letter to the fantasy figure has been branded "bratty" by parents who were shocked by her request.

An image of the letter was uploaded to Reddit where many were quick to comment on the girl's "demanding" tone.

In the message she writes about how she would like more cash than what she got for a tooth last year.

The handwritten note reads: "Dear mum, dad/tooth fairy.

"Can I please have $25 (around £20). Want more money than last time or else I will be mad."

The note is wrapped in a plastic bag with the word's "Addy's Tooth" scribbled at the top.

And the girl was clearly not messing around, as her parents were amused by her boldness to ask for more money.

Over on Reddit, a picture of the message was uploaded along with the caption: "My daughter's note to the 'tooth fairy'."

However some parents didn't seem to find the note funny, as many claimed the girl could do with anger management therapy.

One claimed she was a "Karen in training" as they said: "She's gonna want to speak to the tooth fairy's supervisor, Santa Claus."

Another added: "She's gonna be really p***ed when she goes to the dentist and they start pulling teeth and charging her."

Other parents think they should teach their child to be polite instead of making light of it.

A user wrote: "How do you teach the kid that notes like that are NOT OK?

"Must be testing some boundaries but damn, ALREADY starting with money. Not juice boxes and cookies…"
