How to get free chocolate delivered to your door on Valentine’s Day
Like Marmite, Valentine’s Day is one of those things that you either love or hate.
But no matter how you feel about February 14, one company is offering a simple way to make the day a little more special for you.
Airtasker, an online business which allows people to source help for tasks such as moving furniture, gardening and plumbing are planning to deliver chocolate free of charge across two cities in the UK and it’s really simple to get yourself or a loved one in on the action.
All you have to do is head on over to the AirLove campaign page on the day and request a special delivery and you could receive some Doisy & Dam chocolates.
As well as sharing your location with the company, you’ll also be asked to write one line about why you deserve to receive a little love.
However there is a big catch – only people living in London and Manchester can get their hands on a box of goodies.
And of course the chocolate isn’t unlimited, so deliveries can only be made while stocks last – so you might want to set yourself a reminder if you want to be in with a chance of nabbing the free sweets.
Those who do get a special delivery are encouraged to share a snap of their treats on social media using the hashtag #AirLove to be in with the chance of winning a year’s supply of chocolate.
Alexa, Marketing Manager at Doisy & Dam said: "We can’t wait to make Valentine’s Day a little bit more special for people this year. After all, what says I love you better than some delicious chocolate?
"We’re so excited to have teamed up with Airtasker to deliver a mixed bundle of our range straight to your door!
"When developing our chocolate, we always aim to create products and flavours that will excite and engage, and this is no different."
She added: "We hope the awesome people of Manchester and London enjoy them."
