I'm desperate for another child but my husband isn't keen | The Sun
DEAR DEIDRE: I’M desperate for another child but my husband doesn’t seem interested.
My daughter is five now and I am 40.
I met my husband late in life and we started a family straight away after we got married, because I felt my body clock was ticking.
I’d always wanted a big family. I’m an only child and so were both my parents so I didn’t even have cousins who I was close to.
My daughter constantly asks me when she is going to have a little brother or sister. It’s all she talks about.
My husband is standoffish about the whole thing. He says our daughter is enough for now.

He doesn’t seem to understand the urgency I feel.
If I didn’t say anything to him, we’d drift along without ever considering having more kids.
