Meghan Markle and Prince Harry live in an £11.2 million mansion nestled in the Californian hills.

They live in Montecito, Santa Barbara, where Oprah Winfrey, Tom Cruise and Ellen DeGeneres, also own homes.

While the couple rarely give personal interviews, their home is full of hidden meanings shared via several notable possessions.

Thanks to Zoom, fans have been given plenty of glimpses from inside the lavish home since the couple moved in last year.

The Duchess of Sussex first shared the couple's living room during a surprise appearance on America's Got Talent.

Their stack of books gives an insight into their tastes and opinions and features feminist literature and photography.

Women: The National Geographic Collection is a collection of powerful female portraits drawn from the National Geographic magazine archives.

While A Photographer's Life; 1990-2005 by Annie Leibovitz, the celebrity photographer who has captured portraits of the Queen, Harry's grandmother, is also visible.

The prints behind Meghan are believed to have been gifted to the couple from their friend and now neighbour Oprah Winfrey.

The illustrations appear to be of nests and in Feng Shui, images of a nest are said to represent stability and family.

A bunch of hydrangeas can also be seen in the shot which are believed to symbolise appreciation and heartfelt emotion, so may well have been a gift from Prince Harry.

In another Zoom interview, fans spotted a celestine crystal in the background of the shot.

The stone is believed to be "best used for pursuing spiritual strength" and "gaining understanding and promoting inner peace". It is also "used as a focal point of meditation, prayer or mindfulness."

Meghan previously spoke about her love of spiritual practices such as meditation in her lifestyle blog, The Tig.

Meanwhile, another interview revealed that the couple has artwork that says ‘I Love California’ which many consider a nod to their preference for the US, which Princess Diana also favoured.

It is also where Meghan grew up and where her mother Doria still lives.

The main house includes a library, an office, a spa with a separate dry and wet sauna, a gym, a games room, an arcade, a movie theatre, a wine cellar and a garage with space for five cars.

Outside, there is endless lawn space with rose gardens, a tennis court, a guest cottage and a large outdoor pool.

The grounds could be seen in a recent Time 100 interview filmed from a bench outside the home.

It’s believed that Prince Harry also has forget-me-not flowers planted to honour his mother, Princess Diana.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved into the huge home in July 2020, having officially stood down as senior members of the Royal Family months before.
