When he's not filming for The Chase Mark lives alone in Rotherham with his golden retriever.

The quiz champ has been filming from his home during the pandemic which has given fans a glimpse of his life off-screen.

During an appearance on This Morning, fans sneaked a peek inside his home as he filmed from his spacious kitchen.

In other pictures posted to his social media, other house rooms are shown, including Mark’s bedroom.

The 55-year-old dotes on his dog, a gorgeous golden retriever and much of social media channel is dedicated to his beloved pet.

The TV star lives alone with his dog following his marriage breakup last year.

The quizzer was married to his 26-year-old second cousin Katie, and they share a three-year-old son named Lawrence.

The pair split after it was revealed that the nurse left him for a boyfriend, 30-year-old Scott Bate.

The couple had an open marriage so Mark was aware of her lover and it’s since been rumoured that he would be appearing on Celebs Go Dating in a bid to find love.

The Beast, also known as Beastie Boy, has a degree in Maths from Oxford University.

Working as a Maths teacher, he became interested in quizzes after making money from winning so many. He has since appeared on Mastermind, University Challenge, Fifteen to One, Who Wants to Be A Millionaire? and Only Connect.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Mark is worth $2 million, which roughly translates to £1,609,550.

While Mark owes much of his fortune to his turn on The Chase, which he joined in 2009, he has also made money winning various quiz competitions worldwide.

This includes winning £32,000 on Millionaire Live in 2005.

The Devon-born star was also on Mastermind in 1999, where his specialist subject was the Olympic Games, and he’s also competed on Countdown.
