Jason Bateman took home best actor in a drama series at the 2019 SAG Awards this weekend for his role as the harried money launderer for a Mexican drug cartel in “Ozark.”

But he didn’t just do the customary “thank you” to his wife and family (although he did do that).

He did so much more.

He bowed down to wife Amanda Anka for making his life and that of his two daughters, Francesca Nora, 12, and Maple Sylvie, 6, run smoothly and happily. Basically, what working mothers do every day, only without the praise.

The “Arrested Development” actor, 50, told reporters backstage that he may be bringing home an award, but his wife deserves a superwoman medal.

“She’s got a full-time career herself and she’s able to be an incredible mom, and she’s also almost a full-time dad too because I’m out of town so much,” he said, according to People. “I’m floored by that. That keeps me grounded. That reminds me that I’ve got a real strong example to kind of live up to what she’s showing.”

Bravo, Bateman!

The actor went on to say that the family is “not impressed” with his MAJOR AWARD.

He called his family the “three most important people” in his life and gave them credit for allowing him to be the best actor he can be, saying that because of their love and support he doesn’t mail-in his performances when he must be away from them.

“That keeps me from taking any of this for granted or just doing it half-a**ed,” he said.

When he accepted his award, Bateman began to tear up as he thanked his family.

“I would like to say specifically though to my wife, my two daughters – Amanda, Franny and Maple – without you, none of it would be enjoyable and it probably wouldn’t be possible. I love you more than I even tell you I do. And I’ll be home for kisses so don’t go to bed. Amanda, pop a mint, I’m going to come give you yours in about five minutes.”
