Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox Masked Up For a Funny ‘Friends’ Reunion

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox just had a mini Friends reunion, making sure to adhere to safety precautions to protect themselves and each other amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In addition to cuddling with Cox's two dogs, Harley and Hopper, the actors filmed a funny little video encouraging others to wear face masks when visiting loved ones. Cox and Aniston wore matching blue tie-dye masks, while the dogs donned little white masks of their own. In the video, they added little captions to mimic a conversation between the pups.

Cox shared the hilarious video of their hangout on her Instagram account early Sunday, July 19. In the skit, after the first dog convinces the second to “just put it on,” he adds, "I've never been more attracted to you," the first dog said.

It's a cute way to get people to avoid the spread of the virus. Just a few weeks earlier, Jennifer Aniston posted her own public plea. The actor shared a selfie wearing a black mask and practically begged her followers to stop politicizing mask-wearing in the caption.

"I understand masks are inconvenient and uncomfortable. But don’t you feel that it’s worse that businesses are shutting down… jobs are being lost… health care workers are hitting absolute exhaustion. And so many lives have been taken by this virus because we aren’t doing enough," she wrote. She added, "People seem worried about their “rights being taken away” by being asked to wear a mask. This simple and effective recommendation is being politicized at the expense of peoples’ lives. And it really shouldn’t be a debate."

I understand masks are inconvenient and uncomfortable. But don’t you feel that it’s worse that businesses are shutting down… jobs are being lost… health care workers are hitting absolute exhaustion. And so many lives have been taken by this virus because we aren’t doing enough. ⠀ ⠀ I really do believe in the basic goodness of people so I know we can all do this 🥰 BUT still, there are many people in our country refusing to take the necessary steps to flatten the curve, and keep each other safe. People seem worried about their “rights being taken away” by being asked to wear a mask. This simple and effective recommendation is being politicized at the expense of peoples’ lives. And it really shouldn’t be a debate 🙏🏼 ⠀ ⠀ If you care about human life, please… just #wearadamnmask 😷 and encourage those around you to do the same ❤️

Of course, the Friends costars are not the only celebs finding nostalgic ways to promote safety guidelines to their fans. Patrick Dempsey recently brought back Dr. McDreamy to convince Grey's Anatomy fans to wear their masks, while Anne Hathaway posted a very clever Devil Wears Prada meme in June.
