Kelly Clarkson denies using pills or ‘weird fad diets’ for weight loss

Kelly Clarkson is taking to Twitter to clear up some falsehoods.

The singer and “Voice” coach set the record straight on the social media site Thursday about the notion that she’s “been taking weird pills 4 weight loss or doing weird fad diets.”

“All of this is not true. I ain’t got time 4 all that,” she tweeted. “I eat the same stuff I always have. It’s all just made w/different flours/sugars/ingredients.”

Clarkson, 37, ended her tweet with “#DrGundry,” referencing cardiac surgeon Steven R. Gundry, who released the book “The Plant Paradox.”

Other fake news that’s going around about me is that I’ve been taking weird pills 4 weight loss or doing weird fad diets. All of this is not true. I ain’t got time 4 all that. I eat the same stuff I always have. It’s all just made w/different flours/sugars/ingredients. #DrGundry

During a June 2018 interview with Extra, Clarkson revealed she struggled with a thyroid disorder and an autoimmune disease, which caused her weight to fluctuate. She credited her new bod to Gundry’s book.

“All my levels are back up. I’m not on medicine anymore because of this book” Clarkson said.

The singer told Extra she focuses on an “organic diet,” and, surprisingly, no exercise: “Literally, I haven’t worked out at all!”

Thursday Clarkson also confirmed that her official Twitter account was the only one she used.

“This is fake news & not me,” she replied to a fan who exchanged messages with an impostor Clarkson account. “What is wrong with people? I mean, I’m way too busy to be sitting around creating fake accounts.”

“I mean, people if you’re that bored go ahead & do the world a service and maybe read a book & better yourself rather than be weird & lie to people,” she added.
