Khloe Kardashian returned home to find a sweet surprise. And lots of people are giving credit to ex Tristan Thompson.

The 34-year-old “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star arrived home from a trip to Bali with 6-month-old daughter True and found that someone had filled her house with silver balloons that spelled out “Welcome Home.”

“Thank you baby,” she wrote above the image and added a heart sticker to her Instagram story, which she posted on Saturday, Oct. 27.

Thompson plays for the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers. True was born to the couple in Cleveland on April 12.

Kardashian had a big weekend on social media. She fanned the flames of persistent rumors about a reunion between her and Thompson with her Instagram story post. On the same day, she unleashed a string of hard-won wisdom on other social media.

‘Stop overthinking life’

In a separate Instagram story over the weekend, Kardashian said you don’t learn about life by holding back, but by forging ahead and making mistakes.

“Please stop overthinking life like you have to have an answer to every feeling or situation. That’s not how life works,.We figure it all out by just living.

“…Always trust your gut and know that everything will work out exactly the way it is supposed to be. It always does. Relax, we were never in control anyway.”

A bit of mom wisdom

On the same day, she issued a powerful reminder in a series of Tweets that we all need help. Now a mom herself, one statement is especially apt to moms everywhere struggling to hold everything together.

When family and friends offer help – take it, she said.

‘I am not the woman I was’

The Twitter storm began with Kardashian saying that she used to take for granted life’s experiences. But she’s learned to relax into the moment, even the sour ones.

“I’m thankful for every moment I have! I didn’t used to be present enough to truly reflect on the beauty of it all! The highs, lows. I was simply going through the motions of life! I’m thankful that I’m in a place where I truly appreciate every experience. Good, bad or indifferent.”

Kardashian continues that while that all sounds Zen, she has regrets and is not perfect. “…What is perfection anyways?”

“I hated the way I used to react to people or how I would speak to some,” she said.

I hated the way I used to react to people or how I would speak to some. I’m still and forever a work in progress. That excites me!! Never am I working towards perfection because what is perfection anyways? Simply aiming to be better, With every stage of my life.

She concluded by saying that self-awareness is key. “Self awareness is beautiful! We all should be growing/progressing every single day! I am not the woman I was 5 months ago, 5 years ago etc…thank God for that!”
