Sports Illustrated has shown its commitment to inclusivity by featuring a host of curvy models at its annual iconic fashion show.
The magazine revealed several of this year’s Swimsuit Issue models ahead of the their official launch back in March, introducing a diverse cast of women of different ages, body types, and backgrounds.
And last night in Miami, the stunning swimsuit models took to the runway at the swish Mondrian South Beach hotel to celebrate the release of the iconic annual magazine, with a host of different body types on display.
Among this year’s gorgeous women were model and actress Saje Nicole, curve model Amanda Kay, personal chef Chelsea Heath, social media influencer Natalie Mariduena and model and actress Christen Harper.

Canadian-born Amanda is one of several curve models to make the cut at this year’s show. She grew up all over the world, moving with her family to Jordan, Egypt, England, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai.
The model looked stunning as she walked the runway in a pink satin swimsuit followed by a snakeskin bikini paired with a bright orange dressing gown.
‘I started my modelling career later in life because I kept making excuses as to why I wasn’t good enough,’ she previously wrote on Instagram.
‘I hope I can show anyone out there who is scared or has reservations to just go for it. Amazing things can happen if you put yourself out there and I’m proof of that.

Actress and personal chef Chelsea Heath, from Newport Beach, California, took to the runway in a cream bikini paired with a peach floral gown.
She was a finalist in the magazine’s 2021 Swim Search and celebrated her win on Instagram earlier this year writing: ‘The emotions that come out of this are indescribable.
‘I keep wondering if this is how Gal Gadot felt when she received the news that she was going to be Wonder Woman. Or maybe this was the feeling Reese Witherspoon felt when she landed Legally Blonde.
‘Whatever your dream goal is, know this. You CAN achieve anything. Spend your time wisely on what you want to make of your life. It took me a very, very long time to figure that out & it’s OKAY to take your time with it.’

Natalie stunned on the runway in a pink leather one piece followed by a tiny animal print bikini and a high-waisted cream two piece.
The 24-year-old, from Illinois, is the assistant of American YouTube star David Dobrik and Head of Brand for the new social app Dispo.

Los Angeles-based Christen Harper is a model, actress, and the girlfriend of American football star Jared Goff who looked sensational on the runway in a revealing pink one-piece.
Christen was also a finalist in the magazine’s 2021 Swim Search, and revealed in her audition video that she’s struggled with insecurity about her body.
‘It took a long time to fully love my body for all that it is, but I am standing here today happier and more confident than ever,’ she said in an audition tape.

‘I want to inspire other women to feel the same way and to treat their body the way they would a best friend…love her, respect her and ultimately believe in her.’
On Instagram, Christen said being an SI Swim model has been a lifelong dream, but she’d never made it until now.
‘SI is the reason I became a model and for years I tried to get a casting with them but never quite made it. Instead of just accepting that and moving on I decided to take things into my own hands and chase this dream myself!’ she said.

Sharing her excitement on Instagram, she wrote: ‘Growing up I remember seeing the woman of SI and being so inspired by them! Their drive, their beauty, their messages! This is huge!’ she wrote.

Speaking to People, Saje celebrated the things that make her special, saying she wishes she could tell her younger self that her uniqueness was her ‘superpower’.
‘Growing up, everything that is beautiful about me was made out to be ugly and unacceptable. My skin tone, my height, my build and even my ethnicity,’ she said.
‘Those things have turned out to be my super powers. So it doesn’t matter if you have different textured hair, short, freckled or have different perspectives. You were made beautifully and perfectly.
‘All of the things that I “should have” hated about myself have made me as bold, audacious and SEXY as I am.’
