A group of young rich Russians living in Britain have given a rare behind-the-scenes look at the stories behind their lavish lifestyles.
Four privileged socialites, who post regular glimpses of their luxurious lives to their Instagram, opened up to society Tatler about being part of the new generation of Russian-Brits, who have come of age in Britain.
These youngsters in their late teens and early 20s have integrated into the upper circles of the English elite, while their ‘nouveau-rich’ Russian-based have never shaken off the image of being ‘outsiders’.
Many are the offspring of super rich business magnates, who moved to the UK after the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, investing their staggering wealth across Britain under Tony Blair’s ‘golden visa’ policy -which allowed them residency in the country in return for a minimum £1 million investment.
Frequenting the most exclusive members-only bars in Belgravia and splitting their time between country mansions, Mayfair mews and exotic holidays by private planes and chartered yachts, they live lives of undisputed privilege.
For instance, Philipp Gazmanov , 21, the son of Russian popstar Oleg Gazmanov, says he’s become part of ‘secret societies’ in London that only the elite can join.
But some have faced prejudice, including Anna Milyavskaya, 22, who has been sworn at and verbally attacked for being Russian.

The privileged student of Generation Z spoke about her life frequenting Harrods, members clubs in Belgravia and enjoying exotic holidays- but admitted she has faced anti-Russian sentiment- being sworn for wearing a chinchilla coat.
Citing Louboutin slippers, Hermes bags, Regents Park and parties ‘with a dress code’ as her favourite things, she described being verbally attacked as as her mother withdrew money from a cash point in Mayfair.

‘It was winter and I was wearing a chinchilla coat,’ she told the publication. ‘ There was a guy behind me started swearing at me, ‘You f***ing Russian b***h in your fake jacket, move away, everyone hates you in this country, no one wants you here, you’re immigrants, go back to your country.’
But despite the unpleasant experience, Anna feels at home in her close-knit community, describing how ‘every second person in Belgravia’ speaks Russian.

Elsewhere Philipp Gazmanov, 21, the son of Russian popstar Oleg Gazmanov, splits his time between Russia and England after attending exclusive boarding schools in Surrey’s New Hall School, then Hurtwood House in Essex.
He has already started his own business which he describes as ‘Uber for trucks’, and remained tight-lipped about his love for London- only admitting that were secret societies the elite were part of.
Describing himself as down to earth, the entrepreneur said: ‘What I like is that there are secret clubs and societies, restaurants where only certain people can go.’ Refusing to name them, he added: ‘There is a reason they stay secret.’
Phillip has a love for fast cars and splits his time between Russia and England after attending exclusive boarding schools in Surrey’s New Hall School, then Hurtwood House in Essex.
Elsewhere Philipp Gazmanov was seen hanging out with boxer Floyd Mayweather as the Russian elite were seen mingling with the celebrities

Another fixture in Russian’s exclusive community in London, the Maths whizz and model enjoys annual holidays to the Tuscan seaside town of Forte dei Marmi ever- a favourite destination among her circle.
‘Even if I don’t plan a holiday with my friends, I know that they’ll be there’, she said of the top spots on the scene.

Despite still being a law student at Royal Holloway, Sasha already owns his own clothing line and enjoys membership at Queen’s Club, which charges members around £2,000 a year, with a share in the club previously reportedly starting a £12,000.
A first-generation Russian, he grew up in South Kensington with his British mother and Russian businessman father, and enjoys the use of a country house in Kent which boasts a sauna, ice-cold plunge pool, bearskins and taxidermied reindeer heads.
Admitting that his father- vaguely described as working in tourism, likes ‘all things English’ but with a ‘Russian twist’, he said: ‘He loves Ascot. That’s probably his favourite thing, even though it’s so English. [But] if you still want to bring your heritage with you.’
