Winta Zesu, a model living in New York City, went viral on TikTok last week after she shared a video of herself standing outside the men’s room at a bar with a cocktail in her hand.

‘POV: your date made you wait outside the bathroom to hold his drink and wait so you blocked him and left,’ she wrote in the on-screen text.

‘So he trusted you to keep his drink safe, and had you nearby so you were safe?! Dude!!!??? What am I missing? Vibes off?’ someone else responded.

‘Maybe bc its unhygienic to bring his drink in the bathroom and he doesn’t want his drink to get spiked??’ another added.

Many people insisted that the man ‘deserves better’ and ‘dodged a bullet,’ but there were also a number of viewers who thought the video was satire.

‘Pretty sure she’s joking guys…hopefully,’ one person wrote, while another added, ‘I think she’s playing y’all.’

Someone else referenced one of her other recent videos, saying, ‘This account gotta be satire.’

Zesu doubled down on her baffling response to her date’s request in a follow-up video, insisting she had to ‘block him and leave’

Zesu’s video has been viewed more than 4.2 million times, and many commenters slammed her for her actions. However, others were convinced that it is meant to be satire

The aspiring actress is best known for her restaurant videos in which she is seen sending food back for ridiculous reasons.

Her antics have incited plenty of outrage online, but she claimed in a recent interview with Insider that the situations were set-ups that were meant to be satirical.

Zesu has yet to respond to the comments on her dating video, but she doubled down on her response when she reposted the video with more context.

‘The fact that my date asked me to hold his drink while he went to the bathroom and expected me to wait showed me all I needed to know on how he’ll treat me in the relationship that I had to block him and leave,’ she wrote in the on-screen text.

‘Dodged a bullet,’ she added in the caption.

The second video has been viewed more than 300,000 times and received even more furor from critics.

Zesu declined to comment on the video and its backlash.
