Pete Davidson doesn’t hold back when it comes to dating.
“I am just very, very honest. I think what a lot of people do is they try to put on a version of themselves that they would like to be, eventually, that will unravel,” the “Saturday Night Live” star recently said on Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM.
The 27-year-old comedian says he will immediately disclose his flaws so there are no surprises.
“I just off the top I’m like, ‘Hey, I’m nuts. Here’s all my issues. Here’s what I do. Here’s the therapist. This is what happens,’” he said.
He admitted that his approach may not always work for the ladies.
“That could either be a lot for someone or… they could be like, ‘Cool, that’s refreshingly honest.’ Or sometimes it can be a little intense and weird and people can’t handle that stuff,” he said.
But the “King of Staten Island” actor doesn’t believe in playing “text games” and always goes for honesty when looking for love.
“If I’m into you, I’m really into you,” he said, adding that games “just creates this whole anxiety and a lot of stress and there’s enough of that going on.”
“Communication is really key,” he said.
Davidson has most recently been romantically linked to “Bridgerton” actress Phoebe Dynevor, 26.
In April, they were seen wearing matching initial necklaces and then a few days later, they seemingly confirmed their relationship by engaging in PDA.
Davidson was previously engaged to Ariana Grande, 27. Since then he has been linked to celebrities including Kate Beckinsale, 47, Margaret Qualley, 26, and Kaia Gerber, 19.
