Struggling hotel worker makes £2.5million in a year and runs property empire

A woman who used to be a hotel worker claims she went from being “broke” to a multi-millionaire thanks to sexy subscription site OnlyFans.

Mia Karina, 20, from South America, lives in Somerset, UK, with her husband Marc Howard, 28, and is now running a property empire thanks to stripping off online.

The duo own multiple properties including a £250,000 holiday home in Mexico with three pools, a gym and a concierge.

Mia also owns two homes in north west England which she rents out and the couple rent their £1.1million home in the south of England.

Mia commented: “I love being a landlord. I am very forward thinking and also empathetic. My tenants want something and I get it sorted for them straight away.”

The model is building her parents a house in South America where they live as teachers and claims her luxury life is distantly removed from her modest upbringing.

When she met Marc the pair were barely earning enough to pay the bills.

She said: “I was raised in a very traditional Catholic family. We have a small home – so small that Marc doesn’t fit through the doorways, he has to bend down.

“The wages back home are low so it means we have always lived simply. My parents shop at the local market and don’t waste anything."

Marc and Mia met on Tinder in 2018 when he was on a work placement in her home town where they fell deeply in love and married in December that year.

When they initially moved they worked in hotels but only made £1,300 a month each. Then, Marc’s friend told him about OnlyFans and he suggested Mia signed up. She started in 2019 when they lived in Malta and quickly began to make big bucks.

The model now earns a whopping £220,000 a month on the website.

Mia said: “At first I thought it [OnlyFans] was like another social media channel, I really was very naive and then I taught myself step-by-step how I could make money.

“Marc and I were trying to build a life together and I just wanted some extra cash.

“Very quickly, I started to make thousands of pounds a month. It was more than I could have dared dream of.

“My immigration solicitor said I was approved for UK residency in the quickest time he’d ever seen."

The pair now drive flashy £45,000 cars, wear designer clothes and are constantly travelling.

Mia said: “We’ve brought a Porsche Macan and want to upgrade to a Porsche Boxter 718 next year.

“We’ve mainly been travelling with our money. We’ve been to Thailand, Ibiza, Paris and plan to go to Tanzania on Safari early next year.

“I have designer bags from Chanel, Versace, LV, Gucci, Fendi, Hermes and Bottega Veneta too. I keep them pristine so they will never devalue."

And, Mia is being smart with her money by saving, investing and setting up limited companies.

She said: “We invest £40,000 a month in the stock market. Marc and I don’t waste money. Investment for the future is so important.

"I have a financial advisor who is helping me buy Bitcoin. The idea is to eventually make passive income so I can slowly phase out OnlyFans and become more property-focused."

The duo want to own 10 houses by 2025 and hope to invest £1million by the end of 2024.

One downside to their wealth is that Mia is now too afraid to return home as she worries she will be targeted for her money.

And, her parents don’t know about her career – they think she made her fortune on the stock market.

Mia said: “I will see them this Christmas and I might tell them if it comes up. So far I have kept everything a secret because I am worried they will be closed-minded.

“I was raised in a strict house and I wasn’t allowed out after 10pm. I didn’t date and boys certainly couldn’t come to my house. It feels like a big step to tell them about OnlyFans but I hope they will understand.”
