'The Witcher' Season 2 Merch Is Here Just In Time for Your Holiday Binge
The Witcher Season 2 is coming to Netflix just in time for a holiday binge. And to add to the magic, a whole new line of season 2-themed merchandise has been released.
‘The Witcher’ Funkos include Geralt, Yennefer, Jaskier, and more
Ahead of The Witcher Season 2 premiere, Funko released a new line of Pop Figures that features Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia donning the monster hunter’s leather studded armor and wielding his sword. The collection includes Freya Allen’s Ciri, hooded in her turquoise blue cloak; Anya Chalotra’s Yennefer, wearing a beige belted coat and black dress; and Joey Batey’s Jaskier the Bard wearing the red jacket and pants he wore in season 1.
The Witcher Funko Pop! line is available at Target and Hot Topic. Each figurine costs approximately $12.
‘The Witcher’ Season 2 merchandise features Kaen Morhen
Season 2 of The Witcher will dive deeper into Geralt’s personal life and introduce viewers to Kaen Morhen — the old keep where witchers from the School of the Wolf, including Geralt, trained. And just in time for the new season, Hot Topic is carrying several related items, including t-shirts and a plush throw blanket that read “Kaer Morhen — School of the Wolf.”
Fans can also find The Witcher dresses, waistcoats, hoodies, and leggings at Hot Topic. The store carries a Geralt t-shirt featuring Henry Cavill on the front and a quote about monsters and money on the back. Their catalog also includes a Yennefer t-shirt with Anya Chalotra and a Jaskier the Bard Tour tee featuring Joey Batey.
Box Lunch also carries exclusive merchandise inspired by the Netflix series. Their catalog includes a Kaer Morhen mini backpack and cardholder, as well as t-shirts and a toggle crewneck shirt. They also have a Witcher water bottle, a 1000-piece puzzle, sleep pants, and a pet bandana.
‘The Witcher’ Season 2 release date is Dec. 17
Geralt of Rivia will be back hunting monsters just in time for the winter holiday. The Witcher Season 2 premieres on Netflix on Friday, Dec. 17. And fans will get the following eight exciting episodes:
Episode 1 — “A Grain of Truth”
Episode 2 — “Kaer Morhen”
Episode 3 — “What is Lost”
Episode 4 — “Redanian Intelligence”
Episode 5 — “Turn Your Back”
Episode 6 — “Dear Friend”
Episode 7 — “Voleth Meir”
Episode 8 — Title to be announced…
The show is based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher book series. And according to Netflix, the first episode of season 2 adapts the author’s short story, A Grain of Truth — a story in which Geralt meets the half-man, half-beast, Nivellan. However, most of the season will focus on Geralt’s and Ciri’s journey together, as they battle monsters outside and within.
“Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen,” the Netflix synopsis reads. “While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans, and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.”
