A WOMAN has revealed a clever £10 travel item when trying to save space while packing.

The clever item was revealed by TikTok user Mrs Garn, who shows how to do "affordable, luxury travel".

In her TikTok post, she revealed a tiny disk of compressed cloth that expands into a full-blown 70×140cm towel when it’s run under the tap.

Called "the ultimate disposable quick-drying compressed travel towel", the compact towel won praise from people on social media.

One person said: "Wait! How?!? This is so cool!"

One TikTok user questioned how to use the towel if it’s full of water although she replied that it "dries very quickly". 

Another commenter asked how the towel can be packed back when you go back home and the TikToker replied: "Literally just fold it back down it – folds down very small".

The item has a 4.9-star review rating by users on the website Packing Made Simple, which describes the towel as a "lightweight and easy-to-carry towel, for those looking to lighten their suitcase or carry-on bag".
